I am currently a PhD candidate at Indiana University-Bloomington with a concentration in American Politics. I have an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois-Chicago and an M.A. in Economics from the American University of Beirut. My research and teaching interests include American politics, race and ethnicity, public opinion, political communication, immigration, and religion. My peer-reviewed research has been published in Political Communication and in the Journal of Race, Ethnicity and Politics and I am currently the recipient of a Dissertation Research Fellowship from the Indiana University College of Arts of Sciences (for academic year 2020-2021).
